Carnosine is a biologically active dipeptide composed of two amino acids – L-histidine and β-alanine. In the fall of 2019, the results of an open-label study conducted at the University of Novi Sad were published, which showed that supplementationcarnosine supplementation in SM patients could be beneficial in reducing fatigue syndrome.
