There are those who love sweets and those who don’t even know such enticements exist. As in everything, we are different in our perception of taste. Although I have been following a healthy lifestyle for years, I love sweets. There was a time that 300g chocolate seemed like a “convenient food”, even at the height of it we used to tell ourselves that we’d rather give up food than not buy chocolate with our last money. By then I already suspected that sweets were making me sick, but it was subtly getting worse as the years went by.
I started doing fitness and competitions, I eliminated all junk food, but there were days when I would “kill” for chocolate and I would literally go through misery. I couldn’t fool it with healthy sweets, but being stubborn, I wouldn’t have chocolate. However, I won’t lie about how great it was because I was just controlling myself. There was once a spray on sale that you couldn’t taste the sweet after applying it. Mentally, it didn’t help, though, because you desperately wanted the sweetness, but you couldn’t taste it at all because the spray didn’t stabilize your blood sugar. It was really weird, and eventually they banned the spray. Gradually I got weaned off sweets, but sometimes I would get a huge and unstoppable craving for sweetness. That would be okay, but in case you have, for example, a strip of chocolate and that’s enough. Oh, and the “strip” was sometimes a problem if I was in an off-season.
I see Carnosine EXTRA Diabeat as a great first aid that will seriously tame your irrepressibility in eating sweets. I’m not saying that it will completely block your sweet tooth and that it will happen within two days. It worked for me after a week, but that’s because I’ve been controlling myself for a long time. So one strip of unhealthy treat, or a scoop of ice cream once a week is enough for me.
I don’t mind people around me eating biscuits, chocolates and the like because Carnosine EXTRA Diabeat has stabilized my blood sugar. It can help you too, but if you “love” sweets every day, it won’t happen in a week or two. Count on one to two months before you feel that unhealthy sweets don’t have to be a daily occurrence. Between you and me, once a week doesn’t matter at all, I’m not in favor of eliminating everything and forever unless you have to do it for serious health reasons. And one more piece of advice, if you don’t know what to eliminate first, sugary drinks. That’s the right first step.
Blood sugar regulation: Gurmar is an herb known for its ability to lower blood sugar. L-carnosine can support this effect by helping to control blood sugar levels and improve insulin sensitivity. Gurmar reduces the risk of developing insulin resistance and metabolic syndrome. By preventing the development of insulin resistance, it is particularly helpful in type 1 (insulin-dependent) diabetics. Gurmar exerts several effects in disorders of sugar metabolism. It stimulates insulin production, regenerates pancreatic beta-cells and also increases the activity of enzymes involved in glucose metabolism
Antioxidant protection: L-carnosine is an antioxidant that can protect cells from damage caused by free radicals. This protection from oxidative stress may be beneficial to overall health
Digestive support: Gurmar has traditionally been used to aid digestion and may help relieve digestive problems such as heartburn and bloating
Weight control: the combination of L-carnosine and gurmar could be beneficial for weight control by helping to reduce appetite and promoting better energy utilization
Immune system support: L-carnosine may have an effect on the immune system and may improve the body’s defences against infections
Cardiovascular health support: L-carnosine and gurmar may help maintain a healthy cardiovascular system by regulating blood sugar levels and blood pressures
