It’s not incompetence and laziness, learning disabilities are to blame!

[article_image_basic : left]

At first everything seems fine, but suddenly the child brings home worse grades, has a harder time remembering the material and can’t concentrate. It doesn’t have to be his laziness or inability to learn. It could be a variety of psychological learning disorders, such as:

  • DYSLEXIA – a reading disorder
  • DYSGRAPHIA – a writing disorder
  • DYSORTOGRAPHY – spelling disorder
  • Dyscalculia – a disorder of mathematical ability
  • DYSPRAXIA – disorder of planned movement
  • DYSPINXIA – disorder of artistic abilities
  • DYSMUSIA – disorder of musical ability.

Common manifestations of learning disabilities may include:

  • confusion of sounds, letters and numbers
  • illegible, jumbled handwriting
  • strained writing
  • inability to read consecutively
  • stuttering or unintelligible reading
  • problems with mathematical cases
  • resistance and reluctance to learn
  • somatic manifestations

What are the possible solutions?

It is necessary for the child to have an individual approach, more attention and support. In worse and more difficult cases, it is of course advisable to seek professional help, such as a child psychologist. Often the school can also help by drawing up an individual learning plan for the child. Carnosine Extra, which also has antioxidant effects and prevents the development of oxidative stress, is suitable for promoting concentration and improving memory.
