The active substance was the first in the world to be discovered in the late 1950s by the Slovak scientist Prof. RNDr. Katarína Horáková, DrSc., who investigated the anticancer effect of natural sulforaphane on human cancer cells in vitro.

Sulforaphane, found in broccoli, has physiological benefits and provides protection against chronic diseases. It is found in broccoli in the form of glucoraphanin.
In order to use the effects, the presence of the myrosinase enzyme is necessary, which converts glucoraphanin into sulforaphane in the body and allows its benefits to be used.

Sulforaphane helps prevent the formation, growth, and expansion of several types of cancer, including breast, prostate, colon, skin, lung, stomach, and bladder cancers.

Studies have shown that the risk of diseases such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease, stomach disease, neurodegenerative disease, eye disease, and respiratory disease can be proportionally reduced with sulforaphane consumption.
