The active substance was first discovered in the world at the end of the 1950s by the Slovak scientist Prof. RNDr. Katarína Horáková, DrSc., who investigated the anticancer effect of natural sulforaphane on human cancer cells under in vitro conditions.

Sulforaphane is found in broccoli, has physiological benefits and provides protection against chronic diseases. It is found in broccoli in the form of glucoraphanin.
To take advantage of its effects, the presence of the enzyme myrosinase is required, which converts glucoraphanin into sulforaphane in the body and allows its benefits to be reaped.

Sulforaphane helps prevent the development, growth and expansion of several cancers, including breast, prostate, colon, skin, lung, stomach and bladder cancers.
